Our Mission:
Orchard Enterprises was founded in Sherwood Park, Alberta 1996 by Jim Orchard. Our Mission is to support local recycling efforts by promoting a recycled, high quality product while striving to maintain a superior level of customer service.
Curbramps:
Are made of re-cycled tires. Each unit weighs approx. 40 lbs. and is 4 feet long. They are channeled to allow for the flow of water and tied together to reduce movement and as an additional deterrent for theft.
Installation:
Curbramps have holes drilled at each end and connected together easily with polypropylene 5/8 inch strapping and crimp sleeve, or with specially designed 33 inch industrial strength nylon U.V. rated snap ties. This system replaces the steel pipe and washer method and is included in the price. Should the previous steel pipe system be preferred it is available at market price. ($15.00/ramp)
Maintenance:
The
curbramps may move down the curb face, simply push them up with a gentle kick.
With the first major snowfall move the ramps away from the curb. They do not
need to go inside for winter storage.
